NEXT WEEKS ASSIGNMENT-Begin MS Word Assignment#2-Use DTP booklet on cabinet by door.
Create 4 text boxes with an example of each below.
  1. Example of Proximity-items relating to each other should be grouped close together
  2. Example of Contrast- If the elements (type color, size, line, thickness, shape, space, etc) are not the same then make them very different. Contrast is often the most important visual attraction on a page.
  3. Example of Alignment- Nothing should be placed on the page arbitrarily. Every element should have some visual connection with another element on the page. This creates a clean, sophisticated, fresh look.
  4. Example of Repetition- Repeat visual elements of design throughout the piece. You can repeat color, shape, texture, spatial relationships, line thickness, sizes, etc. This helps develop the organization and strengthen the unity.

    • It is a type of software that combines text and graphics together.
    • 3. WHAT IS a USER INTERFACE?
    • Interface refers to all of the onscreen elements that allow you to communicate with the computer. EX: In print layout view you can see how text graphics will print on the page.
    • 4. Explain the difference between the Menu Bar and the Toolbar?
    • The menu bar contains general menu categories such as (file, edit, view, and so on) from which you can carry out commands in word. TOOLBARS- These are called toolbars because they include clickable icons or pictures/buttons that are shortcuts to the menu items.
    • 5. What is the title bar ? The title bar displays the title of the document
